We’re All in This Together

By Beko US

Saving the planet is a big job. Good thing we’re all in it together.

On April 22, millions of people in hundreds of countries around the world will join in observing Earth Day. Their common goal will be raising awareness and generating renewed enthusiasm for protecting the environment.

Beko is totally on board and involved in this shared effort. In fact, even though the company has only been doing business in the American market for two years, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has just named Beko ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for the second time!

This remarkable achievement recognizes Beko’s obvious commitment to creating appliances that enrich the lives of consumers who are conscious about their environmental impact. Its engineers have developed dozens of eco-friendly technological innovations that redefine the word efficiency—from refrigerators that require less energy to run than a 50-watt light bulb to dishwashers that clean brilliantly with significantly less electricity and water.

Improving energy efficiency is one of the fastest and most cost-effective ways people can make a difference in their homes. The EPA’s voluntary ENERGY STAR program has been America’s resource for helping consumers save energy and protect the environment for more than 25 years. Since 1992, ENERGY STAR and its partners have helped save American families and businesses over $450 billion and more than 3.5 trillion kilowatt-hours of electricity. Currently, more than 98 percent of Beko’s major appliances are ENERGY STAR certified, with individual products in the line being named to the EPA program’s Most Efficient list in five categories.

Now, here’s another way Beko is partnering with ENERGY STAR to work collectively on our common goals. Check out the ENERGY STAR “Ways to Save Tips” below for energy- and money-saving ideas that can help you celebrate Earth Day every day in your home.

After all, we’re in this together.
